Awesome 4-rooms-in-one house!!!

July 27, 2006

hanse_colani_rotor_house_oc.jpg This strangely built house has amazingly 4 rooms that can be rotated by any simple remote. This so called house is called the Hanse Colani Rotor House. Designer Luigi Colani has created a space-saving house with a six square meter cylinder inside that contains a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. There’s a separate toilet and a small hallway, and is also controlled with a remote. These kinds of creations are most likely futuristic stuff that we might not be familiar with. This house will certainly be good for young professionals who need minimal space while they focus on their career in a quiet and peaceful environment.

Movie Response

July 26, 2006

I would most likely be in a big corporation to make millions instead of staying in a garage making nothing. You may not do much but you will be rich and famous. The company that a person would by himself most likely will not suceed because of all the competion out their. Even if they do get their product out they will most likely be crumbled by the other top companies such as Google or Micrsoft.

Computer Program Helps Reduce Drinking

July 26, 2006

Having created a computer program that seems to help excessive drinkers reduce their intake, researchers said they hope to offer the program for alcoholics to use at home or over the Internet. Alcholics have drinkin less than usual and payed less attention to alcohol. In one training regime, an alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink are shown on a computer screen, each surrounded by a different color. The participant must then identify the color surrounding the nonalcoholic bottle as quickly as possible. This will help the participant to use their mind and react in a quick movement. As they continue to do this their mind begins to ignore any alcoholic beverage. Is this an invention that the world will use, most definitly.

Meet the Remote-Control Self

July 25, 2006

Hiroshi Ishiguro is a busy man, between his two jobs and countless meetings. He has no time to enjoy his afternoons like any other person. So he built an android version of himself to pick up the slack. Mr. Ishiguro has created an android that looks and moves exactly like him. It actually communicates exactly like him. He actually would like to test this by sitting him next to his family to see if his family can tell the difference. This is a brilliant idae to take a break from work but nothing else because then it might just replace you. Only inside of work is the best place to use this, but anywhere else shouldn’t be an option.

Apple announce iTunes movie rentals

July 24, 2006

This article represented by Apple is not a very exciting issue that is coming up in the future. Movie rentals that are going to be on iTunes is useless because people usually rent movies from Blockbuster or any other movie place. This will just create competition and may even hurt the Apple company. I guess we are going to have to see when it comes out.

U.S. Army to deploy robots that shoot

July 24, 2006

The Army next March will begin to deploy Talon robots from Waltham. These robots will be aquiring M240 or M249 machine guns and also a rocket launcher. This is one of the best ideas yet for the U.S. Army considering that this will save millions of dead men during war. The men’s jobs will be to firmly control these robots to battle. The only problem is if they can afford to replace men with steel robots costing millions.

Jobster “Meet Your Future”

July 20, 2006

Social networks for nearly 400 corporate customers, pay between $1,000 and $9,000 per month for the service. Which is beyond outragious. Customers who are in this program dealing with this much money a month is certainly not called for.  They are locking in 135 new customers per quarter and booked 3 million in revenues in June alone.  Jobster obviously has an ability to sell their stuff, so as long as they don’t go completely sideways with their product then they are a definite float. The costumers, I think, should find a better resourse instead of paying thousands and thousands on a website reffered to as Jobster .

What is Windows Update

July 19, 2006

A new program coming to microsoft is I think good for the computer. This protects your computer from any viruses which is very important to most people. The more viruses your computer gets the more money your going to have to pay to clean it. By updating your computer by Windows Updater it will also offer security and also provides online updates.

Master Firefox’s Hidden Configuration Tools

July 19, 2006

A regular internet explorer can be set and configured to your wishes. Firefox on the otherhand is different, What I mean is that the program has no menu command or preferences dialog box to give users control over its cache, performance, and other settings. For some reason it is hard-to-discover ways of configuring Firefox to behave according to your wishes.
